Description:
Year 2020 has been so eventful in Nigeria and the whole world. The impact of COVID19 left countries of the world thinking of new ways of educating their citizens. Many educationists used different methods and media of teaching to survive during the COVID19 lockdown. The advent of this plague exposed many shortcomings in the academic systems of developing countries (Nigeria Inclusive). We have come to learn new lifestyles with a set of protocols as a result of COVID19 and other surrounding issues like banditry and Kidnapping that have formed the new normal experience in Nigeria. This conference theme “STEM education in the new normal: Issues, challenges and opportunities for National development” was carefully coined to address some of these issues that have impacted on academic institutions in Nigeria and the world at large. It is against this backdrop that we invite researchers and academics in Nigeria and all over the world to the 14th National conference of the School of Sciences, FCE Kontagora to research the above theme with the aim of improving STEM education in the new normalDeadline for abstracts/proposals : 14th February 2021
