Overview: HIPAA has undergone rule changes and increased enforcement, but many Business Associates (BA) and their Subcontractors, are unaware of and not in compliance with the vastly increased HIPAA privacy and security rules required for compliance. The marketplace is adapting to these rule changes by Covered Entities (CE) requiring their BAs to provide proof that they are compliant. This presentation will educate the attendees, from both Business Associates and the Covered Entities perspectives on the requirements of HIPAA and what documentation must be in place to comfortably enter Business Associate Agreements (BAA).
