Integrated Behavioral Healthcare: Evidence Based Practices & Innovations is a one-day interactive conference which will include plenary presentations, question-and-discussion periods, and break-out sessions on a variety of relevant topics. Course content and delivery is designed to help participants develop practical strategies and valuable networks while pursuing a plan for behavioral health integration. This conference brings together a diverse audience of clinicians, administrators, and staff involved or interested in bringing behavioral health expertise into general medical care—to better achieve whole-person care and reduce fragmentation across the medical-mental health divide. While it is challenging to adapt our systems and patient care models, it is imperative that we continue to find ways to enhance the implementation of behavioral healthcare services in healthcare settings. We can accelerate our efforts by learning from each other’s attempts. Through this conference and its subsequent initiatives, it is our goal to continue to provide an educational summit where healthcare providers/organizations/teams can convene to share their insights, lessons learned, and best practices related to the effective integration of behavioral healthcare into the primary care setting.
