The 2nd International symposium «Combating of illegal migration and illicit human trafficking» will provide a unique opportunity for professionals to build on their experience and to develop their skills to successfully bring cases to the regional systems, and to use those cases to achieve practical change. The curriculum will combine presentations, case studies, exercises, and discussion groups with preparatory work and further reading to ensure full maximum benefit for those attending the event. Participants and speakers will be invited to provide information on cases they are working on and those concrete examples will help shape discussion. Symposium elements will involve trainings in the latest hands-on techniques of professional and practical exchange of knowledge and new ideas between scientists, state employees NGOs representatives, migrants and victims of illicit human trafficking. The project aims the strengthening exchange and expertise among participants of CEI member states and other states, discussing possible solutions and guidelines for the support of cooperation and coordination between NGOs and national forces, drafting relevant recommendations from states participants to each other, necessary framework requirements for efficient common counseling service, exerting an influence on the current discussion of migrant law and counteraction measures to related crimes, publication and implementation of results and further cooperation.
