DESCRIPTION Ensuring Global Economic Growth! Although, after the unpalatable and historic economic meltdown (2008), global economy is on the path of recovery, it seems to be very slow. Reports indicate that policy makers and analysts have requested international cooperation in framing suitable macroeconomic policies in order to ensure stable and sustained growth. In this regard, it is quite interesting to note that G-20 forum has fixed a global growth target to aid and accelerate such an initiative. But the report further suggests that developed economies do not agree and resort to austerity measures.
