World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS), TERI’s flagship event, since 2001 is a single platform to accelerate action towards sustainable development and especially climate change. The Summit is held under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change with support from the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and is an epitome of Track 2 diplomacy. The Summit brings together senior political representatives and leading policy makers, researchers and business leaders around the world to deliberate and create solutions towards a sustainable future. WSDS 2016 was inaugurated by the Hon’ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee.
