The Athens Center for Classical & Byzantine Studies (ACCBS) of ATINER is organizing its 5th Annual International Conference on Classical and Byzantine Studies, 30-31 May & 1-2 June 2022, Athens, Greece sponsored by the Athens Journal of Philology, the Athens Journal of History, Athens Journal of Humanities & Arts, Athens Journal of Mediterranean Studies and the Athens Journal of Architecture. The conference aims at bringing together academics and researchers from around the world to present current research on all aspects of Classical and Byzantine cultures, including (but not limited to) the study of literature, philosophy, history, law, politics, theology, music, art, architecture, science, technology, as well as the Classical tradition and the reception of Classics by Western or Byzantine intellectuals. Scholars may participate as stream leaders, presenters, session chairs or observers; however, they may present only one paper and chair only one session in the conference.
