The Asian Finance Association (AsianFA) was founded in 1993 with the merger of the Asia Pacific Finance Association and Pacific-Basin Financial Management Society. The Association holds an annual meeting in the middle of the year, usually in late June/early July, which brings together hundreds of experts and scholars from around the world to discuss cutting-edge research in finance and economics. The AsianFA is governed by a board of directors representing 20 plus universities around the Asian-Pacific region. The Association houses two journals: International Review of Finance, published by Wiley, and the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, published by Elsevier. Interested academics and practitioners may join the Association by attending the annual meeting or applying to the Association for membership. Members of the Association will receive hard copies of these journals.
