The multifaceted nature of the traditions across Asia help us to understand the cultural patterns and transmissions of traditional knowledge. The connections and flows of the traditions in Asia constitute the cultural heritage of Asia. They manifest in diverse performative art forms pertaining to the communities of artists. This conference seeks to put together accounts on the communities and performative traditions from across Asia undergoing transitions and seeks to generate systematic knowledge about the needs and challenges of the communities. The virtual conference aims to understand the socio-cultural, political and historical significance of the traditions in Asia.Performative Traditions in Asia will be held in Delhi,India on date 2021-04-30
