Description:

Welcome to the 6th International Conference “Plant Abiotic Stress Tolerance”! Abiotic stresses, defined as the negative impact of non-living factors on the living organisms in a specific environment are the primary causes of crop loss worldwide. Abiotic stresses include high and low temperatures, salinity, drought, flooding, heavy metal stress and many other environmental factors. Plant tolerance to these stresses is dependent on the molecular networks involved in stress perception, signaling, and the expression of specific stress-related genes and metabolites. The 6th International Conference “Plant Abiotic Stress Tolerance” to be held on February 21-22, 2020, in Vienna, Austria will discuss the most recent advances in understanding and combating plant abiotic stress and tolerance mechanisms and to define new frontiers in this field. Vienna is located in the heart of Europe on the banks of the Danube River, and considered as one of the most important economic, cultural and touristic large cities of central Europe. Apart from providing top science, the Conference will capture the spirit of the city thanks to the central location of the venue offering a multitude of cultural events. This two-day event will provide leading academy and industry scientists a platform to communicate recent advances in “Plant Abiotic Stress Tolerance”, and an opportunity to establish multilateral collaboration. The 6th International Conference “Plant Abiotic Stress Tolerance” will cover the following research topics: Plant Response to Cold & Heat Stresses, Plant Response to Drought, Salt and Osmotic Stress, Plant Response to Oxidative- and Flooding Stress, Plant Response to Nutrient Stress, Signaling & Heavy metals, Plant Abiotic Stress Signaling, «Omics» & Genome Editing of Abiotic Stress Tolerance, Breeding & Engineering of Abiotic Stress Tolerance.

Plant Abiotic Stress Tolerance VI will be held in Wien,Austria on date 2020-02-22
