The International Scientific Conference (iNASCON) 2015 is a follow-up from the 1st National Science Officer Conference that was successfully held on 3 to 5 April 2010 at Grand Riverview Hotel, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. With theme, Sustainability in Science and Technology Challenges and Innovations, 1st National Science Officer Conference had attracted over 200 participants from all over Malaysia and managed to impart knowledge and highlight selected important issues pertaining to the science and technology. The successfulness of this pioneer conference organized by the association give a motivation for us to continual our efforts and propelled it into international arena. The iNASCON 2015 aims at continuing to be the meeting platform for science officers, academician, health-care workers and researchers in science and technology works. Interestingly, complementary medicine is now becoming an attractive and popular among community because of it promising outcome. In this iNASCON 2015, we would like to bring together both areas in holistic approach. Therefore, the followers of the two parts could meet in perfect harmony. Thus, �'Challenges in Technology and Complementary Medicine for Human Sustainability'' has been chosen as the theme for the conference and the distinguish experts in these respective areas have been identified as speakers for the conference. Paper presentations will be invited from all participants, accentuating recent technology or innovation leading to human sustainability. As a registered association, Persatuan Pegawai Sains USM (PPSUSM) is determined in bringing together scientists and researchers to showcase their research findings and to share their experiences and knowledge among fellow scientists. We hope that iNASCON 2015 will be a platform for participants to exchange ideas and establish collaboration and research networking in science, technology and complementary medicine to cater the bottom billion communities. It is also a way to nurture and enhance our creativity and credibility in research in-line with the country vision.
