The History of Art Conference aims to trace the tracks of the dialectic correlation in between the art and the concepts of politics, ideology and identity and artistic crops of this correlation from the very roots of the art to the modern world and to the present. During the conference and within the context of politics, ideology and identity, well known periods and moments of the history of art will be brought to the agenda and new areas of interest that will be revealed by this perspective will be explored. HISTART '14, hosted by MSFAU (Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University), will be organized from 23th to 25th of October, by DAKAM (Eastern Mediterranean Academic Research Center).
